Postcards from a Dog

Early on I came to the conclusion that I can’t read minds and likely others can’t either.

If you want something the best way to get it is to spell it out. You don’t set yourself up for so much disappointment that way. You want a certain gift for your birthday? Spell it out to the person you want it from. Save that person the agony of guessing. Everybody walks away happy.

You want something from life. Spell it our for the universe. Mostly you will get it. Though I have found the universe seems to have a bit of humor. My request have been answered in the strangest ways at times.

Probably there was someone else in line before me with a conflicting request, or one more urgent. Though the line is astonishingly short. Most people don’t seem to know that you have to ASK for what you want. They just let life happen to them.

So yesterday when I started coming down with a major case of the creeping crud, I determined that I would be better today. I said so. I told the universe.

And Bingo! All better today.
