Lots of little things to report …..

I got inspired these last days. Made some real progress.

Got my shed cleaned out and set up some beds and a feeder for the two stray cats that live with me. I guess I should start to call them mine. They have been here now for 3 months or so. I think they are brothers, one with short hair, one with long hair. Both black and white with about the same pattern. Both boys. Kitty and Cat. Or Buddy and Buds. They don’t care what I call them. Just bring the food please.

They worked out a time-share situation with my cats. Buddy and Buds have the run of the place at night, Amber and Clyde rule the place in day time. I help by getting my two into the garage at about 5pm and then lock them in. I don’t let them out too early in the morning either. So Kitty and Cat get some day time hours out and about. The long haired one spends his down time under the neighbors porch. The short haired boy lives behind a bush by the house.

My worry is what I am going to to with the whole gang when I leave. Amber and Clyde are not your nice house cats. They were advertised as “semi-feral” when I adopted them about 10 years ago. And that about covers it. They are not into people and lap sitting and petting. So yes, I can put them each into one of my cat carriers and haul them kicking and screaming the whole length of Mexico to Belize. Then I open the carrier and that’s the last I will see of them. I don’t have a house, garage or any place I can lock them up until they see the place as home. All I have is a fenced property and a travel trailer with dogs running about.

My sincerest hope is that the new people will take the cats with the house. Of course I was not counting on 4 cats. Next plan is to adopt them out. Hard to do. With the housing crisis so many cats are homeless. Look at my two additions. Last resort is to put them to sleep. Not a bridge I wish to cross.

Today I tackled the garage. And one thing let to another and I ended up cleaning the crawl space under the house. Yuck! More spiders than I care for. Also you think I would pick up on the low ceiling after the first time I hit my head real good. But NOOO. I must have wonked my head a dozen times on waterlines, the door sill, you name it. But boy is it clean. Where did the junk go? To the curb of course with a big sign “FREE” next to it. Took a picture and put it on Craigslist. Gave directions. Hope to see it gone.

Scrap metal is a hot commodity these days. I had advertised a pile of metal posts free on Craigslist. 9 call in 10 minutes. People are hungry.

Oh yeah, couple of days ago, gave away a Dell computer tower sans hard drive for free. Same deal. Lots of responses.

So the garage is half done. Ran out of steam and back strength after all that crawling around under the house. Got the car outside and piles on the floor. Give away. Take to the eBay Store. Take with. Trash. The plan for Monday is to haul it all hither and yon.

Damn I’m good!

Got that MagicJack working on the computer. Asked my mother to call me from Germany. She said the call quality is better than the Qwest line. Bingo. $50 savings coming up, and goodbye Qwest.

I have Skype, which by the way does not work with MagicJack. It’s one or the other. One VOIP at a time. To Skype I unplug MagicJack.

Got phone.com for a virtual office number. This allows local customers to make a local call to me. I pick it up as voice mail where ever in the world I am.

Got A Verizon cell phone.

Got more emails than is good for a person.

So I’m Communicating.

Don’t need no stinking land line.
